The Cal State University, Fullerton Athletic Department is committed to excellence in both academics and athletics. Representing the Titans, their teams compete in a range of sports, including baseball, basketball, soccer, and more. With a history of success in NCAA competitions, the department emphasizes student-athlete development, combining rigorous training programs with top-tier coaching and support services. Their goal is to cultivate champions in sports and life, fostering teamwork, integrity, and leadership across all their programs.
At BridgeAthletic, we're honored to support Cal State Fullerton in transforming their athlete training programs. With our platform, CSUF has gained the ability to create templates for exercises, set, rep, or progression schemes, which has given them "much greater flexibility in our programming and individualization for all of our athletes." This flexibility is crucial for delivering personalized training, whether athletes are on the road, at home, or on campus.
Our comprehensive video library, combined with extensive communication options—including video, comments, and photos—has allowed Cal State Fullerton to foster stronger connections between coaches and athletes. As they noted, "this has allowed much greater communication from the athlete as well as the coach and greatly improved our training adherence and engagement throughout this process."
BridgeAthletic’s centralized, web-based platform plays a vital role in enhancing transparency and accountability among all stakeholders at CSUF. By providing real-time access to program modifications, testing results, and rehabilitation progress, we've enabled a collaborative environment where "all athlete stakeholders can access and see up-to-the-minute changes in program modifications and testing results, developmental groupings, or acute and chronic rehabilitation."
Our platform also supports the onboarding process for newly cleared athletes, introducing them to higher-intensity training and familiarizing them with Cal State Fullerton's exercise selection and progression schemes. Once athletes are on campus, coaches can assess their movement competency and training age, allowing them to put them with a program that best fits their needs, whether that means offering a regressed option, switching out an exercise or two, or progressing them to the next developmental tier of training.
Through our collaboration, Cal State Fullerton has been able to deliver more personalized, effective, and transparent training programs, leading to better performance and outcomes for their athletes. At BridgeAthletic, we are proud to be part of their mission to develop top-tier athletes and are committed to supporting them every step of the way.
